Glenn Laumeister, CEO
Glenn is a serial entrepreneur and technology CEO who has launched and scaled numerous technology businesses including the freelancer marketplaces CoachMarket, for executive coaching and corporate training consultants, and Thuzio, a freelancer “digital talent agent” for professional athletes.
Prior experience included launching and growing Partsearch/PartStore.com, an e-commerce and enterprise software business for consumer electronics, computer, and appliance replacement parts. He co-founded PartStore and grew it from an idea to over $75 million in revenue. The Company’s awards included the INC 500 list, Deloitte’s top 500 growth businesses nationally, and he was selected as an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.
Prior experience included working for CUC International (now Cendant) building AutoVantage, a national car buying network, AAdvantage Dining, a network of 2,000 fine dining restaurants for American Airlines, and running Shoppers Advantage, a catalog shopping business with over $120 million in annual sales. Glenn began his career working for General Motors in Germany, where he doubled the size of their European automatic transmission business to over $120 million in annual revenue and established a sales and marketing office in Frankfurt Germany selling to Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Opel, Volvo, and BMW.
Glenn graduated with a BA in International Relations and German from Colgate University, and received an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Matt Wenzler, CFO
Matt is an experienced financial and operations executive in the consumer products industry, specializing in the Beauty segment, with over 25 years of wide ranging professional experience in all areas of finance and operations, including accounting, purchasing, treasury, information systems, and human resources.
Matt heads up all finance, operations, and HR/compliance functions for AllWork.
Prior to AllWork, Matt served as Vice President of Finance and Operations for Fragrance & Beauty Services, LLC., working with a vast client list including Freeze 24/7, Bourjois, Orlane, Perlier, and Borghese, and was responsible for financial planning and overall operations. Prior to that, Matt served as Vice President of Jean Patou, Inc, the Vice President of Finance & Treasurer for LPI Cosmetics and Orlane, and worked as a senior accountant for Weber, Lipshie & Company.
Matt earned a BS in Accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He is a member of Delta My Delta National Honor Society in Business Administration, the Alpha Chi Honor Society, and became a CPA in 1992.
Gus Spathis, CTO
An Internet pioneer with over 20 years of experience in technology, business, and marketing, Gus has created award-winning solutions for some of the most well-known companies today. Gus has worked on numerous projects with Glenn over the last 10 years and now acts as fractional CTO to AllWork, managing all development and technology operations.
Gus specializes in building enterprise SaaS software, talent platforms, e-commerce sites and AdTech businesses. Prior to his current work, Gus was CTO of E-Commerce Solutions, where he created a variety of search engines for companies like Excite, iVillage, The New York Times, Deja.com (Google), About.com, and Palm. Before joining E-Commerce Solutions, Gus was with Partsearch Technologies, where he oversaw the creation of the world’s first comprehensive parts platform – an achievement that increased the company’s negligible revenue to in excess of $20 million in one year.
Earlier in his career, Gus led the Poppe-Tyson Interactive team responsible for the architecture and implementation of the real-time broadcast of the 1997 IBM Deep Blue vs. Kasparov chess match. He also worked with various Fortune 100 clients on the design and launch of their sites, including Priceline, Lending Tree, ING Barings, Web Pilot, Dean Witter, Chase, Citibank, the first Internet-based White and Yellow Pages for Yahoo, and one of the first e-commerce sites, RealCounts.
Wendy Gottfried, VP of Business Development
Wendy has over 20 years of experience in the retail industry. Previously, she served as Vice President Divisional Merchandise Manager of Beauty, Fragrance, Lingerie and Swimwear at Saks Fifth Avenue. Wendy was influential in the development of the new beauty floor on Fifth Avenue, an expanded brand assortment in niche fragrances and the apothecary, plus many in-store service initiatives including the SaksFirst Beauty rewards program. Most Recently, Wendy launched GottBeauty, her consulting firm focused on brand building, wholesale, and retail strategy.
Wendy leads luxury brand and retail sales and business development for the AllWork team. She is a proven leader in the industry and has an extensive background in merchandising, buying and sell-through solutions including staffing and in-store experience.
Rob Balfour, VP of Enterprise Sales
Rob is an experienced sales executive with a relentless passion for helping companies transform the way they do business. Rob heads up all enterprise sales of AllWork’s technology platform, specializing in industries such as Consumer Electronics, Consumer Goods, Luxury Goods, Sporting Goods, and DIY with both manufactures and retailers.
Prior to AllWork, Rob spent time in the 3rd-party labor industry working with tier-one brands by helping them build sales teams to service their retail partners across several industries. Rob has a unique insight as he has spent 10 years as a front-line retail executive and 10 years working for hi-tech consumer electronics brands. Combined with Rob’s vast experience of third-party labor and staffing, this gives him the knowledge to help solve problems businesses face today.
Rob also serves as a Board Director for a non-profit organization that provides food and supplies to pet shelters in New Jersey.
Sharyn Rinaldi-Dingertopadre, Director of Finance & Operations
Sharyn is a financial and operations executive with over twenty years of diversified experience in the Beauty Industry. Sharyn manages the back-office operations at AllWork, including overseeing Client and Talent relations, new client implementation & education as well as client billing, Human Resources and Payroll management.
Sharyn has years of experience working in various accounting & personnel related positions. Prior to AllWork, Sharyn was the Accounting & Operations manager for Fragrance & Beauty Services, an Inside Sales Executive & Assistant Credit Manager for Jean Patou Inc. and the Accounts Payable/Receivable Manager for Cintas Corporation.
Sharyn was awarded a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Berkeley College in Woodbridge NJ. Due to her diligence, Rinaldi graduated in the top 10% of her class. Sharyn was also awarded Associates in Applied Sciences from Brookdale Community College in Lincroft NJ.
Laura Dutile, Manager of Marketing & Community Development
Laura is a digital marketing professional with over 10 years of experience working with technology start-ups across a variety of industries. Previously, Laura has worked with early start e-commerce companies to develop customer acquisition and retention programs as well as branding and content strategies.
Laura manages all of the digital, content, and acquisition marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness and oversees the growth of the talent community at AllWork.
Scott Gurfein, Board Director
Scott is a hands-on leader who has created, launched, and managed consumer brands and entrepreneurial ventures from ideation through monetization.
Scott started his career in traditional retail with May Department Stores and then shifted into the Internet space in its earliest days; co-founding the first online dining guide and then crafting digital marketing and advertising strategies for heavyweights CNN, Time Warner, Sony Pictures, Disney, Miramax, HBO, and others.
In 2003, Scott acquired Freeze 24-7, the world’s first over-the-counter Botox alternative. As the CEO of Freeze 24-7, Scott achieved retail sales of $150 million by his third year of ownership by implementing an aggressive sell through model using in-store beauty retail talent, and expanding the brand from concept stage and a single product to a full skincare brand sold across all sales channels in 30 countries.
In 2006 Scott, co-founded a provider of back office, procurement and financial services to consumer brands such as L’Oréal, Kate Somerville, REN Skincare, and dozens more. Leveraging his experience, Scott founded Brand Growth Management in 2008, a brand development and advisory firm to other established and emerging brands like Mama Mio Skincare, Hand Perfection, Cane+Austin, Carol’s Daughter, Karin Herzog, and MD Solar Sciences.
Scott’s work has been recognized globally: WWD’s Beauty Inc. Award for Newcomer of the Year, CEW’s Enterprising Beauty Award, features on CNBC, The Style Network, and in the New York Times Business and Style sections.
Howard Meitiner, Board Director
Previously president and CEO of Sephora, Howard Meitiner has over 4 decades of international experience in project management and startup advising. Currently a Managing Partner at MOKA, he has also served as COO of Fortunoff, CEO of The Museum Company and CEO of Phoenix House.
Ken Landis, Board Director
Ken Landis has been an entrepreneur, private investor and executive in the cosmetics, accessory and fashion industries for over twenty years. He was an investor and served as COO of Accessory Network group, a leading designer and manufacturer of a brand rand of brand name and licensed accessories across all distribution channels. Prior to this, Mr. Landis co-founded Bobbi Brown Cosmetic, Inc., a manufacturer of luxury cosmetic products, which was acquired by The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc.
